I, Varatharajah Jeyaruban, Director, School of Social Work. Dedicated and accomplished Director with a passion for social work education, committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Proven leadership in curriculum development, student engagement, and community outreach. Adept at building collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, students, and external partners to enhance the overall educational experience.Provide visionary leadership to the School of Social Work, overseeing day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning. Collaborate with faculty to develop innovative curriculum, incorporating evidence-based practices and experiential learning opportunities.
Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Usually, I am having and continuously develop the following skills for enhance my carrier and well as create and make sure stress free and conducive work environments for my subordinates, such as Leadership, Curriculum Development, Community Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion and Collaboration and Partnerships. And also pay attention to develop second layer leaders in my division to take responsibilities to bring the sustainability in my division.
